The project unites veteran musicians including Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures), Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees, Mad Season), Duke Garwood (Mark Lanegan Band), and Peter Buck (R.E.M.), with music shaped through recording sessions spanning Olympia, Reykjavík, São Paulo, Joshua Tree, Santiago, and Barcelona.
The result is a cinematic blend of rock and global instrumentation, layering guitar, bass, and drums with oud, sitar, gamelan, and a wide palette of percussion to create something expansive and transportive.
Tracks like “Outside Again” and “Mouth of the Whale” highlight the group’s collaborative, atmospheric approach.
