Dunrovin Ranch Equine Art Extravaganza

This extraordinary art contest and fundraiser uses live horses as art canvases. The theme for 2018 is “Horses as Poetry in Motion.” Interested artists are encouraged to submit conceptual design sketch(s) with an accompanying list of materials (for approval), artist bio, photo, and statement by May 18 to [email protected]. A maximum of six artists will be notified by May 28. All sides of the horse must painted and mane, tail and hoofs may also be included. Each participating artist receives a $300 stipend for their participation and to cover the cost of materials, and will be photographed with their steed. Online viewers vote for their favorite horse/artist combination by making a $5 donation to the Friends of Dunrovin for each vote cast.
