Fair Ayres from the British Isles

Baroque Music Montana explores the consort and folk repertoire from the British Isles. This concert will pair local baroque violinist Carrie Krause with her esteemed mentor, Ingrid Matthews, founder of the Seattle Baroque Orchestra, who possesses an extensive award-winning discography. The mellow and aristocratic viola da gamba will make its Baroque Music Montana debut, played by Joanna Blendulf. The performance takes place in an intimate space with refreshments. Works by Blow, Matteis, Purcell, Jenkins, and Locke are on the program.
