Flathead Lake Festival of Art-2023

This juried show features original fine art and craft by talented artisans from Montana and the Northwest. Offerings include paintings, drawings, jewelry, clay, glass, sculpture, photography, wood, leather, fiber, basketry, and mixed media.
Located at Sacajawea Park on Kootenai Avenue on the shore of Flathead Lake in Polson, the two-day, juried event is sponsored by the Sandpiper Art Gallery, a nonprofit organization. The festival’ falls in the midst of the Flathead Valley’s summer tourist season.
The late Rich Stripp, editor of the local weekly, said of the Sandpiper’s art exhibitions: “Local panoramas in oil rub shoulders with vistas of the mind in pastels, acrylics and watercolors. Together, they speak to the twin functions that art can serve in a community: taking us places we already know and revere, and challenging us to see things in a new way.”
