FVCC Theatre: “Guys and Dolls”

Apr 19 - Apr 28

FVCC’s Theatre and Music programs stage the beloved musical comedy “”Guys and Dolls”” April 19-28 in the campus theatre. Hailed as one of the greatest musicals of all time, “”Guys and Dolls””follows New York’s gamblers and gals in their pursuit of luck and love. With lively, show-stopping tunes such as “Luck Be a Lady,” “I’ve Never Been in Love Before,” “Sue Me” and “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat,”” this classic still sparkles more than 60 years since its Broadway premiere. High rollers are in town, and they’re depending on Nathan Detroit to score the latest and greatest hot spot for their floating crap game. Trouble is, he’s $1,000 shy. Supporting characters include buttoned-down Sarah Brown, who’s short on sinners at the Save-a-Soul mission, the dashing Sky Masterson, who accepts Nathan’s $1,000 bet that he can’t lure Sarah Brown to Havana, and the loveable Miss Adelaide.
