Germanfest 2019

S-Bahn, a high-energy band from Vancouver, BC, returns for the 26th annual celebration, produced by Arts Missoula in honor of the community’s sister-city relationship with Neckargemund. With a diverse and eclectic repertoire, S-Bahn specializes in Oktoberfest (German) and Malankas (Ukranian) music.
Bayern brewmaster Jurgen Knoeller will be on hand to tap the Oktoberfest wooden keg. In addition to beer and pretzels provided by Bayern Brewing, the festival offers bratwurst and sauerkraut by Covered Wagon Hot Dogs, and German baked goods by Alpenstüble of Stevensville. Commemorative beer steins for sale, children’s activities, and information about Missoula’s sister-city of Neckargemünd are also part of the popular annual event.
