For this premier event, distinguished artists have been invited for their connection to Montana, quality of work, and exhibition history with the museum. Participating artists are known for their studio and plein air works highlighting the people, landscapes, communities, and history of our region. Paintings, etchings, and photography are featured in this year’s event with subject matter ranging from Glacier’s iconic views, indigenous culture and stories, wildlife.
This year’s event will also honor renowned Flathead Valley artist Tom Saubert for his distinguished career and lifetime contributions to this region and the visual arts.
This premier event will feature an artist champagne mixer, live art auction with auctioneer Bo Carpenter, silent auction for smaller works and Glacier Park historic works, raise the paddle opportunity, live painting demos with artists Kenneth Yarus and Wanda Mumm, appetizers and buffet dinner by House of S&M, drinks and signature cocktails by Spinnacker Bay , and live music by The Glacier Symphony Quartet. Event Premier Sponsors, FOR Fine Art Gallery of Whitefish and Bigfork, and Good Luck Gallery in Kalispell have also donated works for the live auction and will host pop-up galleries of additional works with sales to benefit the museum.
Invited artists include: True Archdale, Sydney Boveng, Sandy Bridgewater, Nancy Cawdrey, Leah Cupino, Cynthia Dearing, Aspen Decker, Cameron Decker, Francesca Droll, Heidi Marie Faessel, Jessy Hanson, Kage Harp, Heidi Haugen, Tessa Heck, DG House, Tabby Ivy, Terran Last Gun, Daniel Lombardi, Bruna Massadas, Wanda Mumm, Sheri Nagy, Nicholas O., Karl Oehrtman, Mark Ogle, Tarek Penser, Raina Pratt, Alena Sanchez, Tom Saubert, Olivia Stark, Echo Ukrainetz, Ron Ukrainetz, Sally Vannoy, and Kenneth Yarus. Auctions will also include historic works by Leonard Lopp, Ace Powell, TJ Hileman, Roland Reed, and others, as well as additional invited artists from FOR Fine Art to be announced soon.
