Glacier Symphony: Earth Anthem (Exploration)

This jazz/world music concert features Native cedar flute legend R. Carlos Nakai, teaming up with Maestro Zoltek on guitar, and featuring a jazz combo with string octet. The program will include engaging and meditative music by Nakai like Whippoorwill and Little Dog along with Zoltek’s new Earth Anthem Explorations Suite based on themes derived from a major symphonic composition that incorporates the poetry of Flathead born Native American poet Heather Cahoon (Salish/Kootenai).
