Virginia City Grand Victorian Ball of 1865: A Step Back in Time

This reenactment event celebrates the end of the Civil War with dancers in historic dress, period music by R. Alexander James and his Distinguished Dance Music Ensemble. Dance lessons are available at 1 p.m. ($5) and the Boardwalk Promenade commences at 6:30 p.m.; the Grand March gets underway at 7 p.m. and a “light repast" is served at 9:30 p.m.
The weekend also includes a High Tea at 4 p.m. Friday at the Bennett House Country Inn.
