A principal with the New York Philharmonic, Leelanee Sterrett, joins the orchestra in the demanding Horn Concerto No. 1 by Richard Strauss. The program also includes works by two other “Wunderkinds”: Mozart and Schubert; all wrote the featured compositions by the time they were 18. The concert wraps up with Jeux d’enfants by Georges Bizet.
