When narcissist weatherman Phil Connors, his producer, and their cameraman are assigned to report on the Groundhog Day events in the town of Punxsutawney, Phil finds himself repeating the same day over and over in an endless cycle. Seeming to be the only person conscious of this phenomenon, he experiments with various indulgences, romance, suicide, and more. Comedy ensues, obviously!
