10 bands perform at the seventh annual event. Celebrate the sounds of traditional bluegrass music with concerts, contests, a Kids in Bluegrass performance, Bluegrass Gospel on Sunday morning, and lots of jamming. This year’s roster includes Trinity River Band from Florida, The Downstate Ramblers from Oregon, and the Panhandle Polecats and New South Fork from Idaho,; they join Montana bands JD Webb and the Black Mountain Boys, Spring Thaw, Gravely Mountain, Pinegrass, the Darby Sireens, and the Mike and Tari Conroy Band. The festival also highlights Pioneers in Northwest Bluegrass, including Bob and JoAnne Martin from Hamilton, Fiddlin’ Duanne Stephens from Grangeville, Idaho, Jack Winthers from Victor, Bill Neaves Sr. from Hamilton and Forrest Clark from Clinton. Camping is available and food vendors are on site.
