“In the Coolness of the Garden” is an original play by Livingston artist and actor Aaron Schuerr. Take a walk in the Garden of Eden and you might be tempted to ask questions. Why would the creator plant a fruit tree and expect a pair of naked innocents to abstain? How did Adam ever name all those animals? What if the lion is not meant to eat grass? Who let a talking serpent loose in the garden? What if Eve just needs to get the hell out of Eden? Are we really all friends in the garden? Peel back the fig leaves and what do you find? Okay, maybe don't peel back the fig leaves, but you know what I mean...
Directed by Tessa Welch, "In the Coolness of the Garden" stars Kate Britton, Steph Burda, Aaron Schuerr, Mercy Simpson, and August Schuerr.
