The 2022 festival will feature nationally prominent authors who will discuss the unique heritage of American wilderness, public lands and sacred grounds. The assemblage includes Timothy Egan, Terry Tempest Williams, Doug Peacock, Sterling HolyWhiteMountain, Kevin Red Star, Rick Bass, Tarissa Spoonhunter, Peter Stark, Shane Doyle, Debra Magpie Earling, Sally Thompson, John Taliaferro, Rob Chaney and John Clayton. Daytime events at the library are free.
Tickets are available through June 20 for the Saturday Gala Dinner at The Wilma. Tickets for the Friday night Author Reception at the Dana Gallery will be sold at the door.
Hikes on Monday, June 27, are sponsored by Wild Montana and are free, but registration and transportation fees are required.
