James R. Bakke: True Montana Artist

Exhibit contains more than 75 phographs from the longtime Flathead Valley artist some of which are on display for the first time. Better known as a painter, Bakke was also a gifted photographer and often used his photographs as models for his paintings. Also on display through fall is “Then and Now,” which explores the roots of some of the most common items used in day-to-day life.
