James Welch Native Lit Festival

MAM is honored to host a full day of programming as part of the James Welch Native Lit Festival.
Events at MAM begin with a Debut Fiction Panel from 11 a.m. 12:30 p.m. featuring Jon Hickey, Kyle Edward, and Mariah Rigg, followed by a Nonfiction Panel from 2 3:30 p.m. with Paul Chaat Smith, Elissa Washuta, and Byron Aspaas. The evening continues with an introduction by Sterling HolyWhiteMountain at 5:30 p.m., followed by the festival's keynote address at 6 p.m., Beyond the Native Renaissance, presented by acclaimed poet Jake Skeets.
