Jazzoula: Missoula’s Celebration of Montana jazz

Five nights of jazz concerts, with a full bar available, feature more than 20 Missoula-area groups. Doors of St. Anthony Parish Center open at 6 p.m. each night with jazz starting at 6:30 p.m.Four or five groups play each night in 35-minute sets. Concert seating and table seating are available at this casual, fun, all-ages event! Thursday is Hall of Fame night when pianist Bob Packwood will be honored. Here’s the line-up: Monday: “Hank Mobley” Quintet with Emily Silks and Brian Tremper, Carlson Meissner, River City Players; Kidd/Eriksson Tribute Quintet; and the Missoula Conduction Orchestra; Tuesday: Youngest Divas; Night Blooming Jasmine; Joan Zen; Chuck Florence Band with Jim Driscoll; and Pink Boyd with Becca Speranza; Wednesday: The Lady Boyds, Starlighters, Canta Brasil, Basement Boyz and crosstalk; Thursday: Melody Anderson, SG New Standards Project, Bob Packwood and Jeni Fleming, Hall of Fame presentation, and Western Union; Friday: Joe Glassy Trio, ThreeForm with MJ Williams, Ann Tappan and Rob Kohler; Captain Wilson Conspiracy and the Big Sky Mudflaps.
