Multi-instrumentalist Jondu (John Dandurand) plays 12- and six-string guitars, a guitar-size mandolin called the mandocello, and an Appalachian mountain dulcimer, which he plays upright instead of across the lap as it's traditionally played. His repertoire ranges from Delta blues to 13th century Irish music.
Dandurand has shared the stage with the likes of Leo Kottke and Stefan Grappelli. Recent appearances include the Swallow Music Center in Denver, Chautauqua in Boulder and the Silverton Folk Festival, all in Colorado.
