Every spring in Glacier National Park, road crews, avalanche forecasters, and heavy equipment operators battle up to 80 feet of snow to reopen the legendary Going-to-the-Sun Road. Built in the 1930s at a cost of three lives and 490,000 pounds of explosives, the 50-mile engineering marvel now faces a new threat as climate change accelerates and glaciers disappear. Jordan and Logan Lefler capture the incredible dedication behind keeping this road open, while documenting a wilderness that may soon exist only in memory.
