The annual Last Best Print Fest includes a Portfolio Exchange (theme is Make Us Laugh) and the inaugural Print-a-Thon. The exhibit opens 5-8 p.m. April 2 and continues through April in the Main Gallery.
Participating printmakers include Katie Machain, Krystal Wolf, Dana Childs, Jace Laakso, John Thompson, Shanel Locke, Patricia Thornton, and more. All prints will be auctioned online April 2-30.
During the first-ever Print-a-Thon, April 2-3, ZACC Print Shop manager Patricia Thornton will “marathon print” an in-house designed ‘I refUSE to sINK’ image for a total of 250 hand-pulled prints. She's bound to need a lot of encouragement to get there, and the public is encouraged to stop by and encourage her in person either day, or sponsor the Print-a-Thon at zootownarts.org.
