LUNAFEST Film Festival

LUNAFEST, the fundraising film festival dedicated to promoting awareness about women’s issues, highlighting women filmmakers, and bringing women together in their communities, will be hosted by YWCA Missoula’s GUTS! program. The evening features seven short films by women filmmakers, a raffle, and silent auction.
The talented women directors bring stories from all over the world, sharing new perspectives and lighting a fire in the industry.
Films featured in LUNAFEST are not rated but are suggested for ages 14 and up for this season’s lineup.
All proceeds from LUNAFEST will benefit the GUTS! Program a unique, community-based leadership and empowerment program designed by and for young women and gender-diverse youth, ages 9 to 18. GUTS! encourages youth to explore their own personal values and discover their strengths through outdoor adventures, skilled trade workshops, as well as after-school groups and community service projects during the academic year.
