The Missoula City Band launches its summer series June 19. For over a century, the band has played open-air concerts for the public. “We continue this grand tradition with renewed spirit,” says director Gary Gillett.
Highlights include the special “Missoula Big Band” pre-season special, on Wednesday, June 19; and a performance featuring the International Choral Festival with an early start of 7 p.m. on July 17.
“The music is great, the venue sublime, and the experience is part of what makes Missoula a wonderful place to be in the summer,” says Gillett.
