The MCCB presents its annual free fall concert entitled “Music of America”.
Under the direction of Don Jaramillo and hosted by Montana PBS personality, Tom Cook, the music will be enjoyed by all ages. Selections will include Ryan Nowlin’s “Let Freedom Ring,” Aaron Copeland’s, “Promise of Living,” Howard Hanson’s “Chorale and Alleluia,” the Sherman Brothers’ arrangement of “selections from Mary Poppins” and John Phillip Sousa’’s “Fairest of the Fair.”
For thirty-two years, the Missoula Community Concert Band has provided performances that have engaged and inspired music lovers of all ages. The MCCB is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting and performing concert band music in the Western Montana area. They are open to all adults who play (or have played and want to get back to it) wind and percussion instruments.
