Textile collage by Monica Thompson of Missoula are on display June 1-30.
This show includes a collection of pieces that highlight the allure of taking a breath, slowing oneself down. Thompson shares “snapshots of still moments in time,” imagined or abstracted from the Montana landscape, and captured in textile collages layered from hand-dyed raw silk.
