Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering and Western Music Rendezvous

Aug 7 - Aug 10

This cultural festival is dedicated to celebrating and preserving the history, heritage and values of the cowboy lifestyle of the upper Rocky Mountain West. Dozens of cowboy poets, western
musicians and artists, from all over the United States and Canada, convene to share their talents and perpetuate the traditions of the American West.
Kristyn Harris of Burleson, Texas, a multi-award winning singer, songwriter and entertainer known for her western swing
spin on original and classic songs of the western and rural lifestyle headlines the 2025 Gathering. She is recognized for her powerful voice, swing rhythm guitar chops, songwriting, yodeling, and energetic stage presence, as well as the passion and authenticity that she puts
into each performance.
The Youth Cowboy Poetry Contest returns, offering poets ages 12-18
cash prizes for their cowboy poetry. First place is $100, second place is $75; the winners will recite their poems on the Grand Stage Saturday evening.
