The Montana Youth Symphony will play their 2025 Gala Concert. Starting the program is the winning composition of their annual Composition Competition, written by Missoula native, Owen Kirby. This year, they welcome back Sir Donald Runnicles to the podium as he leads the orchestra in Joseph Haydn’s second cello concerto, featuring Helena native, Charlie Snellman, and Tchaikovsky’s monumental Fifth Symphony.
