Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play

Oct 9 - Oct 20

This darkly comic imagining of a post-apocalyptic near future was called “downright brilliant” by “The New York Times.” The contemporary play spans over 80 years and at least as many pop-culture references.
A group of strangers becomes a traveling theatre troupe performing remembered episodes of “”The Simpsons”” as a way to make ends meet in the barter economy that rises from the ashes of American consumerism. “Mr. Burns” celebrates the human need to connect again and again through shared stories.
