Western Art Week’s premier showcase of Native American artisans is inside the Great Western Living & Design Show. The 2020 Celebration of Native Plains Artists showcases fine art and crafts exclusively by Native American artists and artisans. The show features full-size tepees, Native American regalia and artifacts, and authentic Native American traditional dancers and drummers.
Special events include “Stories of the First People: Indigenous Reflections Under the Big Sky” featuring Montana’s Troubadour Jack Gladstone with Native artist Darrell Norman, 6 p.m. Thursday; “Interpretation of Blackfeet Legends: Origin of the Bear” by the Missouri River Dance Company, 6 p.m. Friday; and Native American Dance Regalia Interpretation by members of the Missouri River Dance Co., hourly on Saturday.
Pollo Loco performs at 6 p.m. Saturday.
