Opening Reception: Another Alphabet

Each element of nature is continually signaling to us seasons, time, mood, and all sorts of conditions. These five featured artists explore a way of communicating mood and feeling through naturalistic elements. The exhibit calls to mind a poem by Dejan Stojanovic:
Light rays will tell you the story.
There is another alphabet
Whispering from every leaf,
Singing from every river
Shimmering from every sky.
The exhibit features new works by Dale Livezey (oil painting), Jared Shear, (acrylic painting), Mary Briggs (ceramic pottery), Ben Carter, (ceramic pottery), and Heesoo Lee (sculptural/functional pottery).
