Parade of Lights and Tree Lighting 2022

The 20th annual Parade of Lights in conjunction with Small Business Saturday offers a day full of fun and holiday shopping. Santa will arrive at the Public Library at 1 p.m. and there will be children’s activities throughout the day.In the evening, the Parade of Lights will consist of stationary floats parked on Higgins Avenue. New this year is the Winter Makers Market which is hosted and curated by the Missoula Makers Collective offering 25 artists selling hand-made gifts. The annual Lighting of the Holiday Tree will include Santa Claus and choirs from Hellgate High School and MPower Voices on North Higgins next to the Red XXXXs. Free cocoa, coffee and cookies will be served and the Badlander will have adult beverages for sale. Boy Scout Troop 1960 will light the large bonfire.
