Legendary comedian and podcaster Paula Poundstone will take the stage for a night of standup comedy.
Her storied career dates back to the 1980s when she was awarded the American Comedy Award for Best Female Stand-Up Comic in 1989. A year later, she made history by becoming the first woman to win a CableACE Award for Best Stand-Up Comedy Special with her HBO special Cats, Cops and Stuff. The special was later recognized by TIME Magazine as one of the 5 Funniest Stand-Up Specials Ever in 2020.
Beyond the stage, Paula has made her mark as a podcaster, actor, commentator, and author. In 2018, she launched her hit podcast Nobody Listens to Paula Poundstone, a follow-up to her previous NPR program Live from the Poundstone Institute. She is also a regular panelist on NPR’s beloved news quiz show Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me, where her comedic takes on current events never fail to entertain.
