Public Symposium: Philosophy and Politics

While philosophy may seem abstract of removed from practical politics, current events are shaking our democracy’s philosophical foundations. Polarizing conflicts exist over what is true or false, right or wrong, real or fake, and how to know the differences. As the philosopher Mortimer J. Adler famously said, “Philosophy is everybody’s business.”
Active and inclusive participation will be encouraged, resulting in a well-organized, focused, and balanced discussion.
