In preparing for this exhibit of contemporary calligraphy, Rebecca Smith says she created pieces integrating experience she’s gained over some 30 years of calligraphy practice.
“My passion with letters has been an energizing and rewarding personal journey. I have been blessed to study with instructors throughout the US, in addition to individuals across the globe Sharing that knowledge with viewers allows me to provide a glimpse into the infinite scope of calligraphy.”
This show offers a varied and dynamic visual tour into the art of “beautiful writing” and the possibilities therein.
