Reception: Pamela Caughey and Noah Riedel

through Sept. 19, Caughey shares complex encaustic paintings and Riedel shows fluid functional pottery, that’s both spare and strong. They discuss their work at 5 p.m. Aug. 21, prior to the reception. Through Aug. 15, the annual summer ceramics show features works by three accomplished ceramic artists: Giselle Hicks, a studio artist living in Helena who recently completed a two-year residency at the Archie Bray Foundation; Lauren Gallaspy, a professor of ceramics in Utah; and Kala Stein, a professor of ceramics at Alfred University in New York.
