Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Richard Ford will deliver the Montana State University 2019 Stegner Lecture. Ford is a novelist, story writer, essayist and journalist. He is the author of 13 books, which have been translated into 35 languages, and the recipient of the Pulitzer Prize, the Carnegie Medal and the PEN-Faulkner Award for fiction, as well as the Prix Femina in France, the Princess of Asturias Prize in Spain, the 2018 La Lettura Prize in Italy and Siegfried Lenz Prize in Germany.  He and his wife, Kristina Ford, live in East Boothbay, Maine, and in Billings. He is Mellon Professor in the Humanities at Columbia University.
