Four-time Grammy-Award winner Sarah Jarosz will return to Montana for concerts at The Wilma in Missoula on Sunday, April 10, then a day later at The ELM in Bozeman on April 11. New Orleans-based swamp soul artist Ric Robertson will open for both shows.
Jarosz, whether performing solo or with her supergroup I’m With Her, delivers a one-of-a-kind performance. It’s no wonder she’s won four Grammys, an Americana Music Award, and has received widespread acclaim for her six studio albums.
Her 2009 debut album, Song Up in Her Head, was number one on the Billboard Bluegrass charts, as was her highly acclaimed 2016 release,Undercurrent. Wall Street Journal described Undercurrent as “country flavored folk songs” that were “direct, unadorned and thoroughly beautiful.”
Folk Alley said Jarosz’s 2021 album, Blue Heron Suites, “brilliantly weaves thematic lines through the entire suite of songs, and her lyrics rise and soar from disappointment and dread to optimism and hope.”
The Bozeman concert will have a seated balcony, but the floor is general admission standing.
