Conducted by Artistic Director Coreen Duffy, accompanied by Mac Merchant on piano and featuring cello and djembe, Snow Angel is a narrated wintery story woven between musical movements to meditate on the meaning of the winter season. Written and composed by Sarah Quartel, this 5-movement piece features an achingly beautiful cello line along with narration to tell a unique and timely winter tale. This concert will also feature Missoula Chorus’ new FORTE Children’s Choirs with a set of seasonal songs of joy and hope, directed by Renie Hall Gibson and assistant director, Lexi Vine.
