Snow Hop Presents: Scott Williams

Scott Williams most recently hails from LA, where he was living on a boat, minding his own business until six years ago when he reconnected with an old high school acquaintance, married her and moved to Montana.
In the ’80s, he toured with The Iron Butterfly, The Blues Image (Ride Captain Ride) and Club Nouveau. In the ’90s, he lived in Hawaii, performing with Beck, Willy K and IZ Kamakawiwo’ole (Somewhere Over The Rainbow) and put out two solo albums, playing every instrument, which won two Hawaiian Music awards and made it to No. 1 on the Hawaiian charts. At the same time, he was producing and playing trumpet in the Tantra Monsters. Then in San Francisco, he played the local circuit with Goofy Foot, lived in Boston, where he performed up and down the coast and finally moved back to LA.
His Montana projects include Under The Bleachers and Big Ska Country.
