State Capital Band: Concerts in the Park

The 117th season of concerts in the park features the State Capital Band under the direction of Robert Loveridge. This band is one of the longest continually performing bands in the country and features 50-60 local musicians, who perform a wide variety of musical entertainment including marches, classical wind ensemble pieces, Broadway and movie themes, and ballads.
The audience votes on their favorites from each concert and the winning pieces will be performed during the final concert. Bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs to the free event.
