The String Orchestra of the Rockies, Montana’s premier conductorless string orchestra, welcomes Emmy-award-winning American violin legend Robert McDuffie to open its 40th Anniversary Season.
Considered one of the finest violinists of our age” and hailed for his “dashing bravura”, Robert McDuffie will perform the American 4 Seasons by Philip Glass with String Orchestra of the Rockies. This celebration of the best in American music and artists also features the nostalgic Appalachia Waltz by another legendary violin icon, Mark O’Connor, and the intriguing Entr’acte of Caroline Shaw receives its Missoula premiere.
