String Orchestra of the Rockies: Musical Stars and String Serenades

The String Orchestra of the Rockies presents the second of their 4-concert season. November’s concert showcases soloists Maria Larionoff, violin, and Adam Collins, cello, in Vivaldi’s Double Concerto in B flat Major, followed by Antonin Dvorak’s beloved Serenade for Strings. Exceptional young string players from UM and local high schools will join the orchestra for this masterpiece in our annual “Rising Stars” side-by-side performance. The program also features the jazzy rhythms and appealing melodies of Wiren’s rarely heard Serenade for Strings.
