Giant arts festival celebrates its 45th year with music of all genres, performances by local theatre and dance troupes, workshops, family-friendly entertainment and activities, a flower show, beer and wine gardens, and art and crafts vendors.
This year’s musical lineup includes the Bozeman Symphony and DeVotchKa on Friday; Matt Wallin and His Nervous Breakdown, Kiltro, Kaleta and Super Yamba Band, Black Joe Lewis and Railroad Earth on Saturday; Stilgone, Amanda Anne Platt and the Honeycutters and Houndmouth on Sunday.
Pre-festival events include Chalk on the Walk Aug. 2; Bite of Bozeman, 5:30-9 p.m. Aug. 3; and Music on Main, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 4. The Sweet Pea Run is Saturday morning, followed by the parade at 10:15 a.m.
