Taste of the Rockies

Experience the magic of early summer at one of Bozeman’s premier benefit events. Every bite and sip helps to expand access to world-class exhibits, educational programs, and hands-on learning experiences. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Northern Rocky Mountains, this lively evening brings the spirit of the West to life through music, food, culture, and community.
Guests will immerse themselves in Western Heritage; dance to the foot-stomping sounds of Twang, a live bluegrass band, master the art of line dancing with Western Roots Country Dancing, test outdoor skills with hands-on activities like a fly tying and steer roping, try their luck at the Dino Egg Dig, a fun challenge with exciting prizes (for an additional cost.)
A Culinary Journey Through the Rockies:
Savor an array of locally inspired small bites crafted by talented regional caterers, each telling a story of Montana’s rich flavors. A ticket includes two complimentary beverages (beer, wine, or hard cider, and non-alcoholic options), with more favorite drinks available for purchase. Sample Blackpot Distillery whiskey in the Tinsley House.
Celebrate Indigenous Voices: experience the rich traditions of Indigenous cuisine with the inspiring Mariah Gladstone of Indigikitchen. Through storytelling and tastings, she’ll share the deep cultural connections between food, history, and community.
More Than Just a Party, It’s a Purpose.
From live music and dancing to an exciting silent auction (bidding closes at 8 p.m.), every moment of the evening supports MOR’s mission to educate, inspire, and connect our community.
