The Myrna Soundstage, presented by AARP Montana, is an exciting series of fresh performances filmed on The Myrna Loy stage, along with artist interviews by local musician John Dendy.
Episode 7 features two unique, sensational voices from Indian Country: Supaman and Chontay Standing Rock. One is an internationally touring Crow rapper whose powerhouse work inspires kids and adults across the country. The other is a rising young Chippewa Cree artist whose heartfelt songs quietly upend all expectations of traditional Native American music. Award-winning Supaman (aka Christian Takes Gun Parrish) is an Apsaaloke (Crow) musician, dancer, and rapper. His one-of-a-kind presentation combines Native culture, comedy and urban hip hop culture in a fresh, captivating, powerhouse style.
Together, these two artists showcase some of the spectacular creative work in Indian Country today. This episode is supported by National Performance Network.
