Watson Children's Shelter VIRTUAL Bike for Shelter

May 1 - May 31

Free

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Watson Children’s Shelter is doing its part to keep each other safe, including moving forward with a virtual Bike for Shelter.
The annual bike ride can happen at any location or time, and for any length and speed that you choose.
This ride helps bring awareness to all the children in the state of Montana who need emergency shelter care.
“Now more than ever we need the support of our community,” say organizers. “Child abuse can happen any time in a variety of circumstances, but in times of crisis the potential for child abuse significantly increases. Stress, financial hardship, homelessness, food and job insecurity, and all the other challenges that come along with COVID-19 can increase the likelihood of abuse or neglect.”
Participants in the Virtual Bike for Shelter event show community support for children in crisis.
