Western Heritage Days and Ned Larson Memorial Chuck Wagon Cook-Off

annual event is chock-full of family festivities, beginning Friday with the chuck-wagon cook-off judging at 4 p.m., a chuck-wagon social, and a street dance with music by the Dodgy Mountain Men (7-10 p.m.). Saturday brings a parade (11 a.m.), the Chuck Wagon Cook-off (grub is served at 12:30 p.m.), and a street dance featuring music by 406 (7-10 p.m.). Salish dancers and drummers perform at the Historic St. Mary’s Mission, which also offers tours; and horses pull the historic trolley through the town “where Montana began.”
