Women Writers Reception and Panel Discussion

Is "women writers" a meaningful categorization? Come hear a distinguished group of female authors speak about the sometimes surprising ways gender has informed their careers, both creatively and as part of the publishing and marketing process.
Panelists are Dr. Jennifer Lynn, moderator, and director of the MSUB Women’s and Gender Studies Center; Dr. Danell Jones, Professor of English at MSUB and non-fiction author; Dr. Precious McKenzie, Professor of English at Rocky Mountain College and author of children’s books; Tami Haaland, Professor of Creative Writing at MSUB and former Montana Poet Laureate; Meagan Lehr, poet and managing editor of The Destroyer e-zine; Carrie La Seur, environmental lawyer and author of literary fiction.
Refreshments will be provided.
Although there is no reason to exclude children at this event, please be mindful that this is a discussion among adults.
