Youth Open Mic Hosted by Peyton Waters

For all the young people: final Tuesdays this year are a youth-focus Open Mic, hosted by comedian-extraordinaire Open Mic alum Peyton Waters, in association with Ziply Fiber.
Peyton Waters is a multifaceted performer from Butte. A freshman at Montana Technological University, she has distinguished herself as a comedian, violinist, and award-winning speech and debate competitor. Peyton's passion for stand-up started early at venues like the Silver Dollar Saloon, and reignited in 2023 through open mic nights at the Covellite Theatre. This lead to Peyton opening for comedians Mo Mandel, Lucas Seely, and Bobby Lee, as well as beloved Butte troubadour Roy Ivy. “All of the volunteering and service is worth it,” she says, “as long as I get to joke and tell stories about this journey later.
