Toronto-based art pop singer/songwriter Rachael Cardiello (raised in Helena) is joy mixed with depth, salt, and sequins. She’s been described as “Kate Bush meets Meatloaf.””
The Myrna Loy show celebrates ZINNIA’s return to the stage their first live performance since the beginning of the pandemic. Cardiello has returned to Helena for the time being and will be joined by her brother Jon Cardiello, Sandy Smith, Trebor Riddle and Brody Montgomery, all Missoula musicians.
Taking advantage of the Myrna Loy’s grand piano, ZINNIA will debut stripped-down versions of new songs written during the last year and the full band will bring to life the synth-pop magic of their album, Sensations in Two Dot.
The Myrna Soundstage is allowing up to 130 people to attend this taping of ZINNIA for its online concert series. There may be a couple of stops and starts and/or re-takes along the way but you won’t want to miss out on the Myrna’s return to live performances!
