Enjoy a weekend of beer, food, music and fun, and sample everything from smooth golden ales to bock lagers during the 5th annual Beer Fest in West, 3-7 p.m. Oct. 29 at Holiday Inn West Yellowstone. Last year’s event attracted 20 breweries and distilleries; organizers anticipate an even larger turn out this year.
The sixth annual affair with a Halloween flare (costumes are encouraged, but not required) showcases offerings by some of the best regional and national brewers. Guests receive unlimited tastings, a souvenir glass and two pints of their favorite drafts, and snacks. Live music is also on tap. Tickets are $25-$30; call 406-595-1687.
The Chef’s Pairing Dinner is 7 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Branch Restaurant; Bitter Root Brewing beers are paired with Montana cuisine prepared by the Branch’s executive chef, Jacob Tew, and Blacksmith Italian’s chef Cory Dragone.
